Statistics Sector Coordination Group (SSCG) Virtual Meeting 1/2020 was held

Statistics Sector Coordination Group (SSCG) Virtual Meeting (1/2020) was held at Central Statistical Organization, Office (32), Nay Pyi Taw on 20th August 2020 with the aim of implementation the National Strategy for Development of Statistics (NSDS) for quality of statistics with cooperation among Central Statistical Organization, NSDS Clusters and Development Partners (DPs) and to held the 2020 World Statistical Day. Firstly, Chairman of SSCG Director General of Central Statistical Organization, U San Myint delivered welcome remark. After that, Mr.Ramanathan Balakrishnan, Representative of UNFPA and Ms.Emilie Bernadettee Perge, Senior Economist of World Bank delivered brief remarks on behalf of Development Partners for Quality of Statistics. Then, Director General of Central Statistical Organization, U San Myint presented the overall statistical development, the member of National Strategy for Development of Statistics (NSDS) clusters discussed on current activities of future plans of their related group.
