The virtual training on ICD 10 coding for COVID-19 which provided technical support by Bloomberg Data for Health Initiative for the staff of Central Statistical Organization (CSO) was organized on 18 June 2020 at the CSO office, Nay Pyi Taw. The objective of the training is strengthening capacity of coders enable to do COVID-19 causes of death coding according to the WHO guideline. U San Myint, Director General of the CSO, delivered the opening remark and Dr. Saman Gamage, Senior Research Fellow from the University of Melbourne leaded the training. The staff from the vital statistic section of CSO were attended in that training.
