Coordination Meeting for Enacting Secured Transaction-ST Law Hold

1.       Coordination Meeting for Enacting Secured Transaction-ST Law led by      

U Maung Maung Win, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Planning and Finance,

Chairman of Inter-Ministerial Steering Committee for Financial Inclusion Roadmap

was hold in the meeting room of Building No. 34, Financial Regulatory Department

on 19 December 2018, at 10:00 a.m.

2.       At this meeting, Daw Than Than Swe, Director General of the Central Bank of Myanmar,

U Zaw Naing, Director General of the Financial Regulatory Department, Country Officer and

Senior Financial Sector Specialist from International Finance Corporation (IFC),Managing Directors,

General Managers and Deputy General Managers from 4 State-owned Banks and

staff from Financial Regulatory Department presented, altogether (34) members.

3.       In the meanwhile, they discussed to enact Secured Transaction-ST Law

which is required for credit market that will be based on movable assets as collaterals for loans,

to organize Working Group which will be composed of representatives from related departments and

forward plans. Then, the meeting was concluded at 12:00 p.m.
