In order to attract more investment from Japan, Seminar on Investment Environment in Myanmar was jointly hosted by Myanmar Investment Commission and Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Myanmar at 16:00 pm on 28th September 2018 in Yangon.

At the seminar, H.E Mr. Ichiro Maruyama, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Embassy of Japan delivered the opening speech and H.E U Thaung Tun, Chairman, Myanmar Investment Commission discussed reform process of Myanmar Investment Law and Myanmar Companies Law following with the questions from the participants.

The Seminar was attended around 100 participants including Chairman, Members and Secretary of Myanmar Investment Commissions, officials, representatives from the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by H.E Mr. Ichiro Maruyama and Japanese investors who are investing in Myanmar.
