The kick-off meeting for OECD second investment policy review was held at Office No.1, Ministry of Planning and Finance, Nay Pyi Taw on 3^rd July 2018 with the collaboration of the representative of the relevant Ministries and  OECD .

The 1^st Investment Policy Review of Myanmar had been published in 2014 by cooperation with OECD. The kick-off meeting was attended by 40 representatives from relevant ministries and private sector.

At the meeting, U Aung Naing Oo, Director General of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration and Mr. Stephen Thomsen, Head of Investment Policy Reviews, OECD delivered the opening remarks, followed by the presentations from OECD with the title, “Findings from the first OECD Investment Policy Review of Myanmar” by Mr. Stephen Thomsen, Head of Investment Policy Reviews. “Presentation of scope, process and timeline of second IPR of Myanmar” was presented by Mr. Fernando Mistura, Project Manager, 2^nd IPR of Myanmar. “Promoting and enabling responsible business conduct in Myanmar” was presented by Ms. Tihana Bule, Economic/ Policy Analyst of Responsible Business Conduct. The meeting was concluded at 11:30 am.
