For Foreign Researchers
- The recommendation letter of their universities or embassies concerned
- The recommendation letter from one of the local historians
- Original Passport
- Two passport size photos
- Registration fees - MMK (equivalent to USD 30) for per year
For Local Researchers
- The recommendation letter of their universities concerned for students or the recommendation for students or the recommendation letter of the gazette officer for external researchers
- Two passport size photos
- Registration fees
- No Registration fees for local Students and Departmental Researchers
- Other Researchers (Local) - MMK (equivalent to USD 30) for per year
For Departmental Researchers
- The recommendation letter from head of their departments
