Statistics Sector Coordination Group(SSCG) Meeting(2/2019) was held at Horizon Lake View Resort, Nay Pyi Taw on 26th September 2019 with the aim of implementation the National Strategy for Development of Statistics (NSDS) for quality of statistics with cooperation among Central Statistical Organization, NSDS Clusters and Development Partners (DPs). Firstly, Director General of Central Statistical Organization, U San Myint delivered welcome remarks. After that, Senior Statistician/ Economist of World Bank, Mr.Clarence Tsimpo delivered key note speech on behalf of Development Partners for Quality of Statistics. Then, Director General of Central Statistical Organization, U San Myint presented the overall statistical development, the member of National Strategy for Development of Statistics (NSDS) clusters discussed on the issues of their related group. Nearly 70 participants from member of SSCG, member of NSDS Clusters, Development Partners, Private Organizations and responsible persons from Central Statistical Organization attended to the meeting.
